In sunny Queensland, where the beaches glitter and the air feels full of possibility, our very own founder Sophia Rizzo has just been named one of Australia’s Top 250 Young Entrepreneurs for 2025 — and also recognised as part of Queensland’s Top 50 Most Dynamic Young Entrepreneurs. 🌟
Sophia started Glitter Girl at just 10 years old with one simple mission:
to spread happiness, confidence and sparkle to the world.
What began as a little girl mixing glitter at her family dining table has grown into a nationally-loved, beauty brand, with sparkling products in hundreds of stores across Australia and New Zealand, and a global community of girls (and grown-ups!) who dream big, play bold, and believe in magic.
From Glitter to Global Inspiration
The Top 250 list celebrates young Australians who are rewriting the future of business — creators, innovators, and brave dreamers building brands from scratch and shaping new possibilities. Some even launch from uni desks, childhood bedrooms, or in Sophia’s case… the kitchen bench with glitter everywhere. 😉
