Glitter Girl Celebrates International Womens Day with a SALE

Today is International Women’s Day 2019 & we are celebrating in the best way.

International Women’s Day is celebrated every year on 8 March and looks to highlight the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Last year’s theme focused on taking action against gender parity for everyone and asked leaders across the world to act as champions for this ideal.

Here at Glitter Girl we are lead by Girl Boss and Princess of the Unicorns, 10 year old Kidpreneur who strongly believes in equality and equal opportunity for all women.

In 2019, the theme calls out to the masses and people all over the world, asking them to be bold for change. According to the organisation’s website, at our current rate of change the World Economic Forum predicts that our gender gap won’t close entirely until 2186.

The organisation is encouraging people, globally, to join forces and take action that can drive change.

According to the International Women’s Day Website: “Each one of us – with women, men and non-binary people joining forces – can be a leader within our own spheres of influence by taking bold pragmatic action to accelerate gender parity. Through purposeful collaboration, we can help women advance and unleash the limitless potential offered to economies the world over.”
